Using watercolor, oil, acrylic and pastel
he captures all four changing seasons spent in the
Thousand Island region. His work is as varied as the area that he's from. While paintings like “Adirondack Silence”
captures the serene and peaceful waters, others like
“ So Be It” show the swelling rough and tumble of the high sea.
Subjects of intreast to ringer incude, children, hunting,, fishing and
classic yachts.*
Much of Michaels Ringer’s creations reflect the
rustic and aquatic imagery of the St. Lawrence River and
the Adirondacks. His Paintings have featured each
part of the river from the mouth at Lake Ontario in
Cape Vincent to the Gulf where it enters back into the
Atlantc Ocean.
